This is my wintery christmas scene. It consists of 7 different works and one animation of santa's sleigh that can't be played on here. BooHoo. I think my favorite work in my scene is the earless elf that has too big of a mouth. I liked making my own scene because there are many different things you can do.

Global Aquarium

In this picture of Global High, I put different fish behind the windows but in front of a blue background to make it look like a aquarium. This creation took me some time but it turned out real good and I like it. It looks real too which is good.

My brushes

These are my brushes that I created from random pictures. This procedure is fairly easy and I love doing this. This so far is my favorite thing to do in photoshop. Making brushes can help you when you want a custom background and cannot find the right template. It's awesome to make brushes!

Imported brushes

These brushes are cool because they are good designs for backgrounds. I like the candy brushes because it makes me hungry. I also like the twirly brushes because they are good for fancy card backgrounds. The hair brushes give the backgrounds some unique quality and a sort of fire effect. I love deviantart.com!

Yoda and Quote

Here is Yoda from Star Wars. I made a dark edged background and white center. The edge dims as it goes toward the center. I put the star looking brush on the corners to make a sort of outline frame for the picture. And I inserted the most famous quote from Yoda.

Stormy Sky

Here is the original picture.

Here I gave the picture a blur and slanted strokes filter to make a rain effect.

Here I gave the picture a glowing edges filter and a jagged edges filter to make the picture look like glowing blobs.

Pizza

Here is the original picture.

Here I gave the picture a neon glow and jagged edges to one of the pizzas to make it look old and molded.

Here I distorted the camera view to make the pizzas jump out at you and put a mosaic tile filter on it to make the bread look crumbly.

Grapes

Here is the original picture.

Here I gave the picture a diffused glow and plastic cover filter to make the grapes look wet.

Here I gave the picture a glowing outside filter and slanted strokes to make it look like it's raining colors.

Swans

Here is the original picture.

Here I gave the picture some neon filter and ink outline to make the swans look rainbow colored.

Here I gave the picture a blurred filter and made it black and white to make it look like it is in a dream.

Horses2

Here is the original picture.

Here I gave the picture a neon outline filter and twirled the picture a little to make it look like the back horse was on a little hill.

Here I gave the picture a neon filter and erased it all except one horse to make it look seperated from the others and make it look like it has the blues.

Lightning

Here is the original picture.
Here I gave the picture a water filter to make it look like it was raining on the camera. And I put a slanted pencil filter to make the rest of the rain illusion.
Here I gave the picture an ink outline filter and a accented edges filter to make a windy cartoon effect. It kinda has the same texture as Vangogh.

Checkers4

Here is the original picture.

Here I gave the picture ink outlines and distorted the camera view to seperate the opposite colored checkers even more.

Here, after I applied the filters, I erased half of the mask off to give the left side a 3D effect.

Checkers3

Here is the original picture.

Here I gave the picture a Bas relief filter.

Here i gave the picture a mosaic tile filter that makes it look ancient.

Brush tool

The Brush tool is a cool tool becuase it has not only faded designs and shapes, but it has realistic features too like grass, leaves, stars, and other things. If you make different layers on a picture, you can make a totally new background for the picture. Like this gecko picture. The background was white, but I changed it to look like a yard or forest bottom.

Checkers2

Here is the original picture.

Here I gave the picture a brush stroke effect and a glass effect. This is cool because it makes the picture look like it was painted instead of captured on a camera.

Here I gave the picture a spongy effect and distorted the camera view on the bottom half. This gives the picture a 3D effect, kinda.

Checkers1

Here is the original picture.

Here I distorted the camera view and I blurred the view. This was fairly easy and fun to do. Its like a funny way of zooming in on the picture.
Here I distorted the color and made the picture have a pencil stroke effect. I also made a wave effect from the center of the checkers piece, to the outside of it.
